Umberto Di Roma is proud family owned Italian chain restaurant, that opened their first location in the United States after their success in Italy . Cooking is in their blood, with generations of family that have perfected and passed down fresh homemade recipes. They are loved by the community and are a staple of Italian home cooking, making food that "Nonna" (Grandmother) would be proud of.

GOAL & ANSWER
Working very closely with the Umberto Di Roma family we wanted to highlight their attention to detail and culture, with a fresh outlook on the brand all while preserving their history and tradition. We provided full branding research and development, creative design, an online eCommerce ordering platform incorporated in their new modern website. All reconstructed and designed with signifigance to contend with the standards of generations to come.
Designing a brand with history.
The Umberto Di Roma’s brand logo was envision with family, tradition and culture in mind. We designed a timeless logo in remembrance of where they have been as well as the road into the future. We kept classic elements like the grapevine and the Italian laurel, which we made a feature focal point of the logo. With clean sleek lines we modernized the classic elements for a new fresh approach to the brand.

When building the Umberto Di Roma website we took inspiration from their delicious cuisine, simple fresh ingredients call for a simplistic and enduring layout for their new website. Whilst keeping a traditional feel to the color palette we incorporated a contemporary easy to navigate site and added a convenient straightforward online ordering platform.
